The Colbert report has always been one of the most-watched series of American screen that critiques politics and the media. It is just due to two facts, out of which the first one is show’s host, Stephen Colbert, who has depicted as fictional well-intentioned, poorly clued-up, influential idiot and the second one is advent of  renowned personalities on the show.

In order to dumbstruck the viewers this time, something exotic has been revealed by the show and that is appearance of former governor, Eliot Spitzer. It has been around one year since when Spitzer made his first appearance on ‘The Colbert Report’ on Feb, 12, 2008 that is one month before he was forked from the office due to a prostitute scandal. And it was the episode that got a huge hook and the fans just got crazy at that time to download The Colbert Report.

But, after this second appearance, it has been analyzed that the former governor doesn’t fear of getting humiliated these days as he was caught in sight in a will to make his own fun, as when it was asked by Colbert that what he is going to do next then Spitzer replied in a notorious way that he would like to go to home straight.

Overall it was a friendly talk between the two, as it uses to be whenever any person in spotlight makes an appearance at The Colbert Report episodes.  Well, Spitzer also threw some logical punches about the economic dream of the treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and economic adviser Larry Summers. He also added that they are an object failure in his opinion.

Well, the rest part of discussion was spent in knocking around Wall Street that Spitzer believes need to be more sluggishly systematized. He said, “The same people who inflated the bubble in the first place are in charge again, and the same people running the banks who destroyed our economy are still there.”

At last, the duo discussed about recent re-appointment of Federal Reserve chair Ben Bernanke. On being asked by Colbert about the sunny side of this reappointment, Spitzer laughed and said, “I just became a big fan of Ben Bernanke”

The celebrities of any of the shows are always marked by their lovely fans! These are always the fans that do some unusual but funny things in order to prove their enormous love for their highly cherished celebs! 

Here’s an example which has proved the above written fact in a clear as well as controversial manner. It’s all done by one of the fans of Stephen Colbert, a political lampoonist! Dan Zinman, a 23-year old Torontonian ,has created a website for fun and wanted it to dedicate in the name of Stephen Colbert. Though he designed the format of website just without any purpose some years before, but he completed the site only after his graduation!

Zinman, in his site, declares that he wants the name of Alberta should be changed to Colberta and Stephen should be declared as the supreme leader of the territory! Not only this, he designs the virtual rules like usage of French and Canadian English to be debarred! He launched the site on the exactly appropriate day - Canadian Day!

But this sweet pill, designed as a motive of fun by Zinman, is finding some of its eaters in a fit of anger and the others in a relishing state! The fan of Stephen revealed that the Canadian Politics is a big joke, so he decided to parody it a little further! The website gained the anti-response by Joseph Reimenschneider, the leader for Albertans for Alberta through his email. The contents of his email warmed the air stating that the website needs to end as it has been designed solely for the sole purpose of harming Alberta-sentiments and spoofing their emotions.

While Zinman is all set to attract a millions to his creation by shooting some marketing arrows straight away in the bull’s eye! These shots include the inclusion of some snapshots of the places that were not getting large attention from Albertans in real life but I guess this would definitely bind them to see it with a vow….!

Yeah!! You heard that right.

A falcon has been named after Stephen Colbert.

On the City Hall in San Jose, California, is the nest of the falcon family. Mayor Chuck Reed named the male falcon as “Esteban Colbert”.

Looks like he is a huge fan of the comedy star and the show The Colbert Report, hence the gesture.

Also, Esteban already seems to be living up to its new name and like Colbert is very camera friendly. For those who do not know, through FalconCam, which airs the reality show on The San Jose City Hall Peregrine Falcons have been installed by the city people, ever since the falcons came to City Hall three years ago as babies.

Now, along with mate Clara who has some sort of a long history with the males, Esteban, who appeared on the third season of the show as the new man in Clara’s life, lives on the rooftop of the City Hall. The couple is expecting a chick as well.

Ever since, it was known to all that Carlos, Clara’s earlier beau with whom she had three children in 2008, will not be coming back, speculations were escalating to check whether a new guy would come in her life or not. Her first beau was Jose Fernando, with whom also she had three chicks.

Let me quote here the Mayor himself,

“I’m delighted that Esteban Colbert appeared at City Hall this week and that he and Clara are hitting it off ………….. Like the City Hall falcons, the original Colbert has proven that with primitive instincts and sharp talons anyone can survive in modern society.”

Aye Aye Mayor!!!

And this is not the first wild bird or animal to have been named after the famous host of the famous show. Infact, this is the third. Before this, in 2006 a bald eagle was named Stephen Jr. by the breeders at the San Francisco Zoo.

More recently, in Santa Cruz, last month, research people at the University of California, named a pair of elephant seals as Stelephant Colbert and Jon Sealwart, the second one named after, Jon Stewart who happens to be a colleague of Colbert at the show.

Now what can be better then this? After an ice cream flavor, now animals are being named after him.
